CHRIS DAY – Senior Management Consultant

Chris is a veteran information systems technologist and information-driven intelligence evangelist with 30+ years’ experience spread across the globe and a speciality in Finance. This encompasses hands-on delivery to mentoring and coaching organisations to become information-enabled, in essence, an information asset to any business. Chris is a committee member of the ISO/TC 68/SC 09/WG 01 “ISO20022 Semantic Models” working group and also the ISO/TC 68/AG3 Best practices working group.

Within BCBS 239, Chris specialises in removing the perception that we have complex business problems and producing elegant, simple solutions that are cost-effective and maintainable for the client. From alignment and harmonisation on language to the appropriate contextualisation of business processes to reduce risk. Chris has applied his pragmatism to usable Data Governance on multiple G-SIB’s and D-SIB’s across the globe, from the USA to Europe and Africa.
